About Us

Over 14,000 women live under the poverty line in the San Fernando Valley and cannot afford feminine hygiene products. Empowered Period has developed a 100% organic and biodegradable pad that rivals commercial pads. Our mission is to provide affordable and environmentally friendly sanitary napkins along to women throughout the Valley so that adequate sanitation and health needs are fulfilled. We want to break the taboo about menstruation so women can speak freely about their periods without fear or embarrassment.
